La Tenaza Trio

Formed in 2006 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, La Tenaza is a Latin jazz trio that plays traditional tango tunes with the influence of Cuban music. A trio (piano, bass and drums), La Tenaza walks you through countless paths across the fertile music scene of the Americas, from tango to Latin jazz. Members Julián Sobol, Hernán Mazzitelli Vidal and Mariano Toziano have an engaging style, a warm breeze of sound that is perfect for a summer’s day. They have released two CD’s, El Mas Caliente and Tango Son. La Tenaza first played at San Jose Jazz Summer Fest in 2010.
