Room 107 is the premier vocal jazz ensemble at Valley Christian Conservatory of the Arts. They have performed at various festivals and competitions, including the Cuesta College, Monterey Next Generation, Reno and Santa Cruz Jazz Festivals. In January 2012, the ensemble won the Festival Sweepstakes Award at Folsom Jazz Festival. Room 107 was honored to perform with acclaimed vocal jazz arranger and director Phil Mattson at the DCINY festival in New York City. In addition to their festival performances, Room 107 earned the Outstanding High School Performance Award from DownBeat Magazine in 2010.
