The Park is notorious for their ability to “bring it” with a raw honest groove and captivating energy. The Park’s sound is one of musical diversity, combining an eclectic sound of Jazz, Soul, and Ambient. The Park performs with diverse artists such as Nino Moschella, Darondo, Alice Russell and T.M. Juke, Happy Mayfield, Righteous Movement, and many more.

Ever since Derek Taylor, Josh Lippi, and Ben Schwier first got together in the bathroom-sized practice room in San Francisco in 2002, they have shared an infectious drive to make music that feels good and a calling to bring that sound to the masses. This energy has allowed The Park to emerge as one of the most sought after rhythm sections in the Bay Area.

When they are not recording, performing, touring or playing dice with artists from around the world, they continue to foster the music scene at home with “The Park Presents” show. In each show they feature up to twenty local and regional musicians, emcees, poets, and vocalists from all musical backgrounds and genres.

The range of The Park’s musicality can be seen and heard in a number of releases this year, including The Happy Mayfield EP, Alice Russell’s new album Pot of Gold and Nino Moschella’s upcoming release.
