Tickets FAQ

Anyone aged 5 and over will need a ticket to enter the festival grounds. Children aged 5-12 can enter with a Child’s daily general admission ticket, available online and at the gate for $5 per day. A child’s wristband also grants admission to the San Jose Rep Stage for daytime festival sets 12-8pm, when accompanied by an adult. Children 4 and under are free.

If you’ve purchased admission online, print your tickets at home (or display them on your smartphone) and show them for entry at any festival gate. This year, VIPs may enter any festival gate. VIPs may then pick up their VIP identification packet at the Concierge Booth, located adjacent to the VIP Pavilion in the Main Stage area inside the festival grounds.

You may enter the festival with tickets purchased online or buy admission, drink tickets and Jazz+ concert tickets at any one of 5 festival gates. Cash, Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

Cash, Visa and MasterCard are accepted at any festival gate. Cash only is accepted at vendor and drink ticket booths at the festival. For your convenience, we provide ATMs inside the festival grounds. Drink tickets are redeemable at San Jose Jazz booths selling beer, water, wine and soft drinks, but are not accepted by any other vendor.

VIP admission holders should print their tickets at home (or display them on your smartphone) and show them for entry at any gate. You may then pick up your VIP identification packet at the VIP Concierge Booth, located adjacent to the VIP Pavilion, in the Main Stage area inside the festival grounds.

Sponsors, Press, and other VIPs with tickets being held at festival Will Call should go to the Main Ticket Booth located at Market Street and Paseo San Antonio (next to the Fairmont Hotel) and be prepared to show a photo I.D.

VIP ticket holders should print your tickets at home (or send them to your smartphone) and show them for entry at any festival gate. You may then pick up your VIP identification packet at the Concierge Booth, located adjacent to the VIP Pavilion in the Main Stage area inside the festival grounds.

We will do our best to notify attendees of all changes and cancellations in advance, however all events are subject to change or cancellation at any time without notice. The festival goes on, rain or shine. There are no ticket refunds or exchanges.

Premium Seating is a reserved seating section directly in front of the Main Stage, allowing attendees to view their favorite artists up close. VIP ticket holders have automatic and unlimited access to this seating area. If offered, premium seating tickets will be available for purchase online in early July.
